About Me
I change the world.
I attended Texas A&M University, and ran cross country there. I acquired my Bachelors Degree and subsequently my Masters Degree, from the same University. I am retired from the science teaching profession and the Human Research Program at NASA Johnson Space Center. I am a consultant in education at the federal level. I have dual residency in Texas and (Manhattan) New York.
Single mom for 18 years, just about finished raising her children alone. My oldest, 26, just graduated from college in IT Administration and Information Systems Technology. My middle daughter began her undergrad at Baylor University, but will finish at Texas Tech, undergrad studies in nutrition and psychology, and will be attending medical school at Texas Tech in the fall. My youngest child played strong tackle, and was scouted for college football by Kansas State and Texas Christian University. I miss him.
Things I Dislike
Mean people.
Hobby's
In my spare time, I love to fish, hunt, garden, write, jump out of planes, race fast cars, and hydrofoil. I am a lover of good coffee, food, wine, beer, and liqour. Intelligent converstion is THE most sexy part of an individual. I could use a bit more of that.
I am currently authoring a book on relationships for the ASCD, Association for Supervisory and Curriculum Development. I am co-authoring a book with the NASA JSC Nutritional Biochemistry Laboratory on Nutrition in Space.
When I am not writing or in New York, I am walking on the pedestrian beach where I live in a quaint fishing village. Sunrises and sunsets are at an optimum here, and you never know what may be washed ashore the beaches to discover.
I love to venture to farmers markets on the weekends and if there are any in the area during the week. I do not eat frozen, processed, or canned foods.
